I am very pleased to see that my image captured at Aldabra atoll took second place in the Above Water Seascapes category of the United Nations World Oceans Day Photo Competition. The image is of two of the islets that form part of the west channels that allow huge volumes of water to pass in and out of the vast lagoon. A huge thank you to the Seychelles Islands Foundation for making the trip possible. The UNESCO World Heritage site of ALdabra atoll is an incredible place, where thanks to the hard work and dedication of the SIF team, wildlife continues to thrive within healthy ecosystems.
