I am very pleased to have become a member of the Ocean Artists Society, an organisation that uses ocean art to inspire people around the world to a greater awareness of our need to preserve our natural world. The Ocean Artist Society was created to foster an appreciation and develop continued interest in the ocean arts. To date they have over 400 members, painter, sculptors, photographers, and filmmakers. Their mission is to use ocean art to inspire people around the world to a greater awareness of the need to preserve our natural world. Separately their members have millions of loyal followers. Together, their ability to make a difference is incalculable. Some of their luminaries in addition to Michael Aw include Dr. Sylvia Earle, Leandro Blanco, David Doubilet, Brian Skerry, James Cameron, Ernie Brooks, Stan Waterman, Valerie Taylor, Howard and Michelle Hall, Greg MacGillivray, Stephen Frink, Emory Kristof, Alex Mustard, Amos Nachoum, Clement Lee, Flip Nicklin, Richard Ellis, Laurent Ballesta, Eric Cheng, and Asher Jay, just to name a few.
