Issue 57 of Ocean Geographic Magazine 'Surviving earth's most destructive animal' contains my article on Aldabra, the UNESCO World Heritage Site located in Seychelles. The piece takes a look at the effects of 50 years of protection on the biodiversity of the atoll and its surrounding waters.

I am very pleased to see that my image captured at Aldabra atoll took second place in the Above Water Seascapes category of the United Nations World Oceans Day Photo Competition. The image is of two of the islets that form part of the west channels that allow huge volumes of water to pass in and out of the vast lagoon. A huge thank you to the Seychelles Islands Foundation for making the trip possible.

My new book, Underwater Eden - The Marine Life of Seychelles, is now available for pre-order from Amazon. Co-authored with Joe Daniels, the coffee table book features over 200 images captured within Seychelles waters. The book is the result of over two years of snorkelling and diving around the granitic reefs and coral bays of Seychelles islands. The Framing Light Exhibition organised by Arterial Network Seychelles, is currently being held at Eden Island Art Gallery and will run from May 7th to June 15th 2018. The exhibition of fine art photography brings together the work of almost 30 photographers and features images primarily from Seychelles.

Issue 3 of Island Studies includes my article 'Baie Ternay Marine National Park - A small bay with a big future'. The article looks at the ecosystems that make up the Baie Ternay Marine National Park as well as the diversity of coastal flora and fauna that inhabits its boundaries.
